Final Project: Short film

The idea of this project stared by Guillermina Pioli: 

¨The idea for the final project started by thinking about what different teenagers go through in their teen life. I'm a 17-year-old girl that understands this situation and wanted to take this opportunity to make awareness of what teenagers go through. We understand that a bunch of boys and girls go through eating disorders, "Smily depression", anxiety, problems at home, and so much more. 

When I started to create this idea for the final project, I thought about what I really wanted to represent and what could happen in a person's life, more specifically in a teenager's life. We wanted to show what can happen in someone's mind and what that person can show. That's why we wanted to make a video with a voice over to portray what really happened in someone's mind and what they try to hide, the images demonstrate what a teenager tries to show in order to create a perfect picture. ¨

Technical scrip: 

In this project, after we had the idea, Guillermina entered the role of writing the script. I will do the direction part, Micaela production part and Julieta the edition part. After we have the script, me, us the director, starts by looking at the characters that help us play the friends and the main character. Also, we need a representation of mother for the girl's scene. My main idea was to highlight two worlds, emotions and how to live from them. For that, also at the end of the video look for the contrast of the black and white camera. This generates less visualization and sadness. With my group, when it came to organizing ourselves for the video, we agreed that the video would go on one side and the audio on the other. Also, it was going to take us two days to record it due to the number of different scenes. From my point of view, we decided to use the camera in motion all the time. The idea of the images is to work on improvisation in a search for realism and naturalism. The camera setup for this was essential because the still shots with a tripod brought out the naturalism. Also, I decided what the plans are going to be like. Work on the character, even if there are general shots, always highlight the girl, the girl has to appear in all the shots. I liked this idea because we always emphasize the girl's emotions.
